This is it! what we've been waiting for. The dream of our own means of transportation and saying good bye to those 5-6 hour long sweaty bus rides to Quito. Actually the last time we did one of those dreaded treks, we were praying it would be the last time we had to stop a bus full of people because our daughter just threw up on us a few times (sorry, too much information). On that note, I hope you can imagine how grateful we are to finally own a car after four years. We owe so much thanks to family here in Ecuador because they sold us a vehicle for almost a third of the cost and also for family in the states for helping consistently so we could put some money aside in savings for this purchase.
Not only them, but we are also very thankful for all those who helped us purchase the motorcycle in Honduras, as we were able to sell it and use the money to help with this purchase. Also i just wanted to thank Seth and Renata Whitlock, because of you guys, we were able to go ahead and make this purchase of the new car when the opportunity arose.
We really wanted to thank all of the the people who shared this blessing with us (we are so excited, i almost want to call it our Christmas miracle). God has blessed us with so much and we thank you all for being part of what He has planned for us and the next steps ahead of us.
Please consider us as a possible end of the year donation. We have big plans this next year and we may not get the opportunity to visit everyone until summer 2015. We again thank you all!
Thank you for partnering with us in prayer!
